What's Our Plan?
Here's our plan for 2010.
 Friday, July 23rd
6:30 PM - Bus arrives at Milwood United Methodist Church,
3919 Portage Rd, Kalamazoo.
8:00 PM - Depart via private carrier motorcoach w/ DVD.
Saturday, July 24th
8:00 AM - Arrive in DC at Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. Breakfast will be served and time given to "freshen up".
9:30 AM - Board bus to visit Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans War Memorial,
Korean Veterans War Memorial, and National World War II Memorial
12:30 PM - Lunch at Hard Rock Cafe.
2:00 PM - Visit United States Holocaust Museum.
4:00 PM - Walk to Boy Scout Momument near The White House.
5:00 PM - Visit Thomas Jefferson Memorial and Franklin D Roosevelt Memorial.
6:00 PM - Arrive at Union Station for dinner.
7:00 PM - Board coach bus for trip to hotel.
8:00 PM - Arrive at hotel
Evening - Swimming at hotel.
Sunday, July 25th
8:00 AM - Breakfast at hotel.
9:00 AM - Depart hotel and head for The Mall.
10:00 AM - Arrive at the National Archives.
11:30 AM - Walk over to the Smithsonian Museum Complex and break into groups to visit museums: Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Natural
History Museum, and Smithsonian American History Museum. Money will be given for lunch at one of
the museums.
3:30 PM - Arrive at Arlington National Cemetery for comprehensive tour and to participate in wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns.
6:00 PM - Board coach bus and head to Pentagon City Mall.
6:15 PM - Arrive at mall for dinner (coupon included).
7:30 PM - Visit The Air Force Memorial and The Marine Corps War Memorial (Iwo Jima).
8:30 PM - Board coach and head back to hotel.
9:30 PM - Arrive back at hotel.
Monday, July 26th
6:00 AM - Breakfast at hotel & check-out.
7:00 AM - Depart for Fort A. P. Hill... Jambo starts!
Monday, July 26th - Tuesday, August 3rd
Have a ball at the 2010 National
Jamboree!!!
Wednesday, August 4th
6:00 AM - Board bus for trip home.
8:00 AM - Breakfast along the way.
12:30 PM - Lunch along the way.
6:30 PM - Arrive back in Kalamazoo... same location as start of trip!.
