For 2010 Southwest Michigan Council will move moving across the street from it location in 1997, 2001, and 2005 to Subcamp 12 and will be Troop 1223. It's a great location and a short walk from lots of Jamboree activities. Check out the map for details.

Not too late to try and make the Jambo!
As it stands today, we have a full troop of 36 boys. However, experience tells us that circumstances may be such that we'll still have a spot or two open up between now and the Jamboree. So be the first one on the waiting-list and sign up today. See the "Can I go?" section for details on how to get your name on the list.

2013 Jamboree Moves To the "West"
From the BSA:
"The Summit: Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in Glen Jean, West Va., will become the BSA's permanent home for the National Scout Jamboree as well as the organization's fourth high-adventure base.
High-adventure activities such as whitewater rafting, rappelling, mountain biking, and hiking will be available at this site. It will also host leadership development training year-round and has the potential to host World Scout Jamborees.
Work on the new site has already begun, thanks to a $50 million contribution from the Stephen D. Bechtel Jr. Foundation. The 2013 National Scout Jamboree is scheduled to be held at The Summit." Link
